Cookies, And Songs I’m Digging.

Hiya people. Today I wanted to do a more relaxed post, let my hair down, and just hang out. It’s been a lot of reveiws and recommendations lately, but I want to be more personable, let you see that there’s a real girl behind the screen.

So, find a cozy place to settle down, possibly with a mug of hot chocolate or tea, and let’s do this thing.

I’m a socially awkward teen who spends probably more time than is healthy writing. I like cats. And dragons. I’m homeschooled. And, as I hope you can tell, I’m a Jesus freak.

My taste in music, as well as in books, is eclectic. One moment, I may be listening to Skillet’s album Collide, the next, it might be Tori Kelly. Or Adele.

  Some songs I’m currently digging:

Voices – Switchfoot feat. Lindsey Stirling.

Super Duper Love pt.1 – Joss Stone.

Must Have Been The Wind – Alec Benjamin.

  • Of These Chains – Red.

  • Imperfection – Skillet.

The song title is a link to a YouTube video of it, if you’re interested. Now that all those songs are stuck in my head, let’s move on.

I live in blue jeans, more or less, and I dye the tips of my hair. I also have anxiety. Brownies are my favorite.

It’s getting mildly weird talking about myself so much, and I did promise you cookies, so without further ado, here is a recipe for no-bake cookies.

No-bakes

2 cups sugar

1/2 cup cocoa

1/2 cup milk

1 stick of butter

1/2 cup peanut butter

2 cups oatmeal

1 Tablespoon vanilla

Mix sugar, cocoa, and milk in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly. Boil 4 – 5 minutes, then remove from heat. Add butter, let melt. Add PB, oatmeal, and vanilla. Mix well. Drop on wax paper and let set. Then enjoy.

I hope you liked this post, and the cookies. Enough about me, tell me about yourself! Feel free to speak up in the comments.

With much love,

Rebekkah.

Hey friendo! I’m pretty similar in the way of eclectic music and I absolutely ADORE Alec Benjamin. That band or group or whoever they are, Red, I’m starting to listen to them quite a bit because of you. I’ve only heard four songs so far but they are so good! Thanks for opening up as well as giving us a cookie recipe. I’ll have to try them tonight. You’re doing great on the blog by the way!

Aww, thank you so much! I'm glad you're enjoying Red too. I've only listened to their Beauty and Rage album, but I really like it. I hope you enjoy the cookies. 😁.
